National Seminar on "National Voters Day" (25.01.2017)

Department of Philosophy, Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur in collaboration with District Administration, Ferozepur, organized National Voters Day Seminar-cumWorkshop, under Systematic Voter Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) on the theme “Vote for Democracy” on 25 January, 2017 at the College Campus. On the Occassion Mr. Manish Garg, IAS, Observer, Election Commission of India, Mr. Surinder Vikrama, IAS, Observer, Election Commission of India, Mr Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, Mrs. Shruti Sharma, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General, Ferozepur, Mr. Vinit Kumar, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Development, Ferozepur, Mr. Ranjit Singh, PCS, Assistant Commissioner, Ferozepur, Mr. Harjeet singh, PCS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Ferozepur, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, PCS, District Development And Panchayat Officer, (DDPO), Ferozepur, Mr. Chand Prakash, Election Tehsildar, Ferozepur Mr. Satinder Singh, Co-ordinator SVEEP Programme, Ferozepur, participated as resource persons. At the Seminar hundreds of students along teachers from Ferozepur District actively participated at the Workshop. All the participants took oath to cast their vote for a good democratic society At the end of the Seminar the Best ERO Award was given to Mr Harjeet Singh and Mr Gurmeet Singh.
